Blogs indexing by Google

[I hope this is the right forum for my question]

Hi,

I opened new blog in LiveJournal. At the same time I opened blogs in posterous and xanga. I post the same content to all three blogs. Interestingly, LiveJournal has been indexed by Google almost immediately, while the other two has not been indexed by Google (yet?).

Any idea why?

you shouldn't post duplicate content..google doesn't like it. You could be ban from the search engine.

I think if it's for personal use/ personal blog entries, you shouldn't really worry about duplicate content. I'm not sure about this though.

Create unique for your blog. Search engines likes fresh and new content..

I heard in one of Matt videos that Google gives much preferences to blog than website and it is true that blog post index much quickly as compare to the websites

You should not use same content more than one time. Google index LiveJournal very frequently respect of posterous and xanga. Therefore your blog open in LiveJournal indexed fast.

I don't really think its something you can fix. I think google indexing your page, and google recording all the words on your page for keywords - are two separate processes. So even though your page might be immediately indexed, it might take a while for google to parse all they want out of your page.

I agree with above few members over here.It is true that Google ignores duplicate content.That is the only reason behind that why the rest are not indexed by google.It is nothing but getting optimum pages in whatever the search engine.The variation of ranking is the effect of Indexation.
