Default Designing Your Site For The Search Engines

It is always been said that almost above 60% of the website traffic come from search engines. So new webmasters and developers try their level best to submit their site to search engines, increase page rank, etc. But in this process more than half of the people fail to do so. Here is the need for for a systematic planning and development pattern to build a successful website.

So here, I am going to explain you the system pattern.

When you design a website, it's easy to focus on what your visitors are going to see. What you have to realise, though, is that you're going to have another kind of visitor with a completely different agenda: they're not going to be looking at your pretty logo and they're not going to be passing judgement on your background colour. What they're looking for is the content and structure of your page.

Good point Maria. Your first job is to get visitors to your site by having your site optimised and then when you get the traffic to hold onto them to achieve your sites objectives!

You can submit your site using firms e.g., ExactSeek.com Search Engine
Most of these firms do a free service to entice to to sign up to a more enhanced paid one. You can also do a search on your favourite search engine - type in"Free web site submission" and see what comes up.

The best way to get your site listed is to have the appropriate meta-tags and content. The site crawlers check for meta-tags, and then they search your actual text for repeats of the tags with in the site. A lot of sites used to use misspelled words to get hits, but if they are not misspelled within the site, the crawler will ignore them in your tags.
